Guest Starring SAILOR MOON
Marc is a choir friend from high school.
I hate Andrew Lloyd Webber. HATE. We had to watch the Technicolor Dreamcoat movie my senior year in preparation for (wait for it) singing his songs.
After I drew this, my choir friend Andrew (a different Andrew from my writing class friend) asked me to draw him with a sailor scout. So I did:

Andrew = an old friend from a writing class. I got him to meet my other geeky high school friends, and he and my friend Hunter dissected the ridiculous faux science in Kate and Leopold.

Stick of Triteness
Cliché man was an actual character in an inspirational "selling candy for choir" video I had to watch with my class in high school.
He spouted clichés with no visible end in sight.
I don't even think he was supposed to be ironic.
At this time, I was taking writing classes at NOCCA, an art school. Mr. Richard was one of my evil teachers there, and he hated clichés more than anything.
Andrew A was a friend from that writing class.
